I learned something new today.
Lady Gaga has "the Hollywood Disease"...
That does explain a lot of things.
By the way, I learned this from an 8-year old.
From the mouths of kids and drunk people, I tell ya!
Frustration and annoyances
I am getting frustrated at work. Even though I really like my job, there are some things there that really annoy me that makes me not want to continue after the summer. I won't go into details, as they'd be highly uninteresting, but my points of view tell me I'd be an excellent boss. Truly fantastic one, at that. In a way this makes me sad. Finally something I enjoy doing and it has its moments that make me want to quit. In another way I'm glad. I am just looking for an excuse to go follow my "dreams". Or at least my heart. I actually don't have the balls to do just that, but I'mma do it anyway. You only live once, right? Why spend your life in misery?
New droolable
Well I had my H&M basket all set up. Then I found this beauty:
Its perfect!
I think I'm gonna scrap most of my H&M stuff for this. It is £95 and you can get it here.

What I hate the most...
The OnePiece!
More and more people in this country are wearing them, they are the ugliest items of clothing I have ever laid my eyes on. It is really sad. Yes, the climate here is not the most pleasant you can find, but if I can wear peep-toe pumps in -20°C, then you can get by without wearing this abomination.
If, however, you happen to think these look "soooo comfortable" and would like to waste 1290,- NOK (€165), you can buy them here.

Boo
I have a cold again. Yeah, my sinuses (sini) are very sensitive. So yeah, I got my hair did today. It was about time. My hairdresser was impressed by the fact that I had brushed my hair. Wonderful. Tomorrow I'm supposed to dress up for work. The way I feel now, I'm not sure I'll have the energy to. Bah. I'll see. I might even wear make-up for work, as that is something I rarely do. My job is quite physical, so make-up is an inconvenience. Plus, there's noone to impress there (translation: no latinos...). But if I put on a skirt, there's no way in hell I won't put on make-up. Just saying.

Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them!
I hate men. Or at least some of them. I thought we women were the masters of mixed messages... ooooh noooo!
Guy: I miss you, I want to see you, come see me.
Girl: Hmmmm, I'll think about it.
Guy: *ignore ignore*
Girl: *flirt flirt*
Guy: Come see me, you promised me.
Girl: OK, I'll see what I can do...
Guy: *ignore ignore*
Girl: *flirt flirt*
Guy: You're a pain in the ass!
Girl: *angry*
Guy: What? What did I do? Why are you so angry?
Girl: You called me a pain in the ass...
Guy: That was meant in a sweet way, not badly...
Girl: OK, fine...
Guy: Hey, you've promised to come here and visit me!
Girl: OK, I'm going to your country and I'd like to see you sometime. Let me know what's up.
Guy: *ignore ignore*
I'm a grown woman and I'm frustrated that I'm in a situation like this. It feels so teenage. And it makes me hate FaceBook as well.

Sunshine superstar
After resting for a few days due to the severe pain in my calves, I have finally gotten back to the walking again. Another 10 K today! I haven't kept track too well since Easter, but I do know that I've walked at least 100 kilometers so far, so I'mma set it to that. 100 is great! That is 20 hours of walking already. Although I do need to get back to my original exercise plan so that I'll be fit for that relay race. Walking today was the best so far. It was my first t-shirt day this year and it feels so refreshing to get a bit of sun on your body (arms only, but you know the feeling, right?). I adore getting a natural tan, as opposed to a sunbed tan. It just feels more healthy. Tomorrow I might even walk to work, who knows?

Party time?
Yes, I went out yesterday. I did not drink excessive amounts of alcohol. Yay me! I drank in moderation (that is, by my standards) and I had a good time. Wow. Who could imagine being mentally present at a party made such a difference? Hee hee...
Then I went home with some latin goodness. You always need some latin goodness in your life. First time I've gone home with someone since... well since... the happening... (Yes, I am purposely being mysterious.) It did actually feel kinda strange, but I guess that is how it is supposed to feel after something like that? That was rheorical, by the way. Then I stayed with my new latin goodness all day as I had no energy left. Not even to get dressed.
But I finally made it home. Here I am counting the little money I have left.
Boo-dee-hoo.

Curious advertising
I will probably be going to Barcelona this summer, so I got my hands on this newspaper today, with a travel report on the city.
Dear photographer, you couldn't find a more inviting beach than this??? I, for one, am having second thoughts.
"Barcelona - bathing (as in swimming/beach) and city in one" Looks promising, eh? This is the cover.
Now, inside the newspaper, we find this:
The most ghetto beach ever! I present to you the evidence...
Sweaty, scruffy-looking girls.
Trash cans and... an oil spill? I refuse to believe that this is water, so far from the shore and on top of a boardwalk type thing.
Comment? I sure don't have one...
Playing in the sand or searching for food?

The worst
I don't care how many designers have sent these 2 things down the runway and how many "cool fashion bloggers" wear them, they are the epitome of bad taste. I have given them similar names as I've seen fit:
It isn't right here...
Nor here...
The Dutch Tourist. You can easily guess this one. Clogs. Just saying it. Clogs. I still can't believe it. What were you thinking, Karl?
What ain't right here
Isn't better here
Interesting challenges, but not one that should ever be met. I hope those 2 "trends" die and rest. Forever in peace.

Semi-bliss
I've been in bed the last few days. Not due to disease or anything. But to the fact that I overtrained my calves and basically couldn't use them for several days due to severe pain. Yes, I stretched after my workouts... Today the pain is finally gone and I can continue with the workouts. I'm supposed to participate in a relay race with my job in just a month.
I have plenty of books to aid me in the workouts... currently using the bottom book in the left pile.
On another note, I got my drooled-after ring today. It is friggin' huge, but it is gorgeous. I bet I'd pack a mean punch with it. (That, of course, would be a fact if I actually punched people. I don't. My mere presence is intimidating enough.)
(Yes, I am aware that my skin is dry... although this picture makes it look horrible, you can't really see it and barely feel it.) I got the ring here. You can get it a bunch of other places as well, just know that it runs quite big. I usually use the smallest ring sizes anyway, I can just about get away with this, with the main coil around my index finger. It falls off my ring finger.
I also took a piccie of my new beautiful boots. I got them a couple of weeks ago, but haven't managed to snap them until now.
The more I look at them, the more I fall in love. They are so me. Sexy, but sporty. But not too sporty, just a tad.
The beautiful light you see in the picture is the spring sun shining through the window. I've been feeling spring in the air for a couple of months, heard the birds for a week or so, now I finally have the lovely weather to match. In fact, this is all the snow left outside:
Foot included for scale. Nice socks, eh? I love the sun and sunshine!
Well, off to have a glass of liquid goodness...

HP Love
I've finished the 2 first Harry Potter books in Spanish. I started the third one, but was so put off by the fact that a woman was reading it, I had to take a bit of a break. I feel my brain expanding, though!

Nails
I tested out my newly-bought nail-polishes the other day.
Needless to say, I'm very satisfied with the colors.
